Where Have We Been?

Well, that's an excellent question. I could make up some good stuff that we have been busy with exciting and educational activities, but well, it's just not that true. Actually, my reluctance to blog lately stems from our over-tired and almost retired computer. We have maxed out the memory on this machine with i-tunes and programs. Even after deleting as much unneeded information as possible, there is still not enough memory to upload any pictures. SO, I'm left with posts comprised of mere text and internet links only. In the midst of such a sad sob story, we did get some good news this week! Thanks to those mysterious (and somehow always quirky) computer geeks, my old Dell laptop is being revived from the technological graveyard. For a mere fraction of the price of a new computer, they can fix what we once considered "beyond repair." Hopefully, by the end of next week it'll be up and running again--at least until Christmas when we hope to acquire a new box of plastic containing our gateway to the outside world and foregoing this Barney Rubble machine.

In lieu of pictures, I'll just give a quick update on Emma. She is really growing fast and we can now see her first two teeth coming in. They are on the bottom and don't seem to cause her too much pain, well, yet anyways. She is crawling everywhere, utilizing both the "army comando dead leg" crawl and then more and more on all fours. She is also pulling up on just about everything, which means she is also falling down lots. Maybe somehow we can escape without any major scars on her face (or anywhere for that matter).

That's about it for us. And just since we are inside 3 weeks until the election, please take a few minutes to watch the following U-Tube video concerning the reason for the current economic crisis. You can get to the video by clicking here. It takes a few minutes, but is worth it.
