7 Months

First things first. You didn't miss month 6.  I did.  So here we are back "on track" with month 7.  He weighs in at a whopping 20.7 lbs.  Jason is still crossing his fingers for an offensive lineman.

And for you folks who like to do the comparison thing, here's Emma.

Think they are related? Think they aren't?  Who can tell.

He's started some solid foods (finally).  I was reluctant to add another "event" to our routine, but the kid was HUNGRY.  So far, his favorites are sweet potatoes and butternut squash.  We're working on green beans.  It is a process folks.  In great news, his reflux is MUCH better.  We've dropped three of the medicines and he is doing great.  All you mommas out there that braved those waters far longer and far worse than us, you are truly champs!

He's moving--but not crawling. The kid can traverse a room without so much as actually getting up on all fours.  He literally rolls from one side of the room to the other until he gets where he's going.  It's a little creepy.  But it's my kind of adorable creepy.

I know every mom out there (well good ones at least) think they have the best kids--and that's part of what makes being a parent so great.  But Robert, aka Boo, really is a great baby.  And he LOVES his sister.  I mean wants to do EVERYTHING she does.  I feel this kind of control could come back to hurt him once Emma realizes the power she holds. I won't be shocked to pray something like this in the next year:

Dear Lord, thank you so much for the wonderful blessings you've given us for children.  Please Lord, please stop Emma from thinking it is a good idea to convince Robert to put paper clips in the electrical outlets. Amen.

Only time will tell, but for now, here are more chair pics.  I was in a black & white mood. Can you tell?

I better get started on 8 months pretty soon.
Tootles.

Note to self:
Do not read Abigail's blog while talking to your grandmother on the phone. Because, without a doubt, she will be requesting prayers for a friend at the same time you are reading Abigail's prayer about sockets and paper clips. As a result, the grandmother will think you are laughing at her prayer request. Not a good thing.

Robert is a stud, no doubt about it. Love the monthly post . . . I need to get on month 10 myself.
