Wow. I've had some tumultuous television choices this summer (See here, here, here, and on occasion, here), but I stumbled across this finger lickin', redneck, low budget country boy meets city boy version of the bachelorette tonight and I admit, I was more than intrigued. It is a cable train wreck. My hand was incapable of changing the channel. My channel surf stopped immediately as I became part of the onviewers delay--slowing down to see exactly what is happening.
After watching the last 10 minutes, I immediately wanted more back story on the players. I mean c'mon people--somebody's GOT to know some folks on here! Devin (the Bachelorette, if you will) is a student at UA--majoring in (BIG SHOCKER HERE) public relations. For air times and more info check here.
So, for the 2 readers out there looking to kill time, FTL, pretty please, won't you leave a comment if you know some back story about this reality situation? This is Alabama after all--somebody's sister went to highschool with one of the country guys, or somebody's cousin worked with the chick, for like 2 months, 3 years ago, or somebody saw her at the Ferg on move in day Freshman year, etc. Need I go on?????

HAHAHAH this is crazy. I am going to be your connection. I know Tribble...one of my good friend's little brother. I about crawled under the table 5 times. A group of us got together and watched it last night much to Bess' (older sister's) dismay.
We have been counting down the days. I find it hilarious you stumbled upon it!
I know Tribble too! He was in my high school class and it doesn't surprise me one bit he is on this show.
I don't know anyone, but I did just discover how I"ll be spending my maternity leave. :)
I hate to admit it but this looks AMAZING. just when i thought i couldn't go any lower with watching the bachelorette i have something else to look forward to. ;) let's hope this devin girl doesn't make U of A look too bad. Please Lord don't let her be an Alpha Chi...
