Besides the deals, it was a nice family trip since Jason and Emma came along for Jason's inaugural "couponing outing."  We decided the fantasticness must be because of the holiday weekend, or more accurately, because despite spending vast amounts of time in self-indulgence and ignoring HIM, the LORD continues to provide for us is so many ways.   So, you should run not walk, do not pass go, do not collect $200, to your nearest store.  Let me know your favorite deals--I feel certain I missed some!

1. 2 1/2 gallons of Edy's ice cream (or frozen yogurt) regularly priced 4.99 for .50 ea.  (BOGO item stacked with 2 $2/1 Food Lion competitor coupons--I checked and I don't think there is a Food Lion in Birmingham--but Publix accepted them. Anyone know why?)

2. 2 8oz containers of Cool Whip for .50 ea. (BOGO item stacked with $1/2 printable coupon)

3. 2 boxes of Wheat Thins for .60 ea (BOGO item stacked with 2 $1/1 printable coupon)
